On 4th of April 2018, Riigikogu approved the Act on Amendments to the Value Added Tax Act (KMS) to be enforced in two phases: partly on 1st of May 2018, and partly on 1st of October 2018. The changes entering in force in October concern the taxation of immovables with VAT.
